Helpful Tips

  • Covid-19 Protocol: Hammock Beach follows all local policies & requirements. Currently, masks will not be required to attend wedding events; however, we are requesting that all our guests "look out for each other" by taking a Covid test prior to attending.

  • Unplugged Wedding Weekend: We are excited to celebrate with our family & friends & ask that everyone "live in the moment" with us. To do this, we request that cameras & phones be turned off. Additionally, please refrain from posting pictures of the bride & groom on social media. 

​

  • Reserve Golf tee times in advance by calling 386-447-4611. Notify them of wedding package rates (SBW code).

    • Ocean Course: $125 | Conservatory Course (15min from hotel): $89

  • Need a babysitter? Hammock Beach offers a "Kids Crew" where drop-off is available for kids 4-12 yrs old. Reservations are required by calling 386-246-5661or emailing kidscamp@hammockbeach.com.  

    • Morning: 9am-1pm - $50/child​

    • Evening: 6pm-10pm - $55/child​

​

  • Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa is a "cashless hotel". Food and other purchases must be made using a credit card or charging to your room.

  • Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa includes privately owned suites, where some owners have chosen to participate in the hotel rental program. Others reside in their suites (some with pets) and have access to hotel amenities. 

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Who can attend the Wedding, Cocktail Hour, and Reception?

    • We would love to have all family and friends attend, however, only adults (21+ yrs old) that have RSVP'd by the deadline can attend these events​.

  • Who can attend the 'Welcome to Bolwaire Island' event?

    • Any children or additional family members (including adults that are not attending formal wedding events) can attend. Please remember to include their names when you RSVP for the welcome event. ​

 

  • What is the attire for the weekend?

    • Welcome Event: Casual ​

    • Wedding, Cocktail Hour, Reception: Beach semi-formal (tuxedos, formal dresses or sequins are not required but are welcome). None of the events are directly on the beach in the sand, therefore heels are welcome. Feel free to bring flats for dancing at reception. 

    • Pool Takeover: Neon swimwear

  • Are the wedding events indoors or outdoors?

    • Welcome Event: Outdoors (lawn & tent) 

    • Wedding: Outdoors | Cocktail Hour: Outdoors | Reception: Indoors

    • Pool Takeover: Outdoors

    • Note there is a weather contingency plan for all outdoor events. ​

  • What is the cancellation policy on rooms?

    • A deposit of one night + taxes/fees is required to reserve your room; however, rooms can be cancelled with NO penalty up to 7 days prior to arrival date (includes deposit refund).

  • Do I have to stay at the Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa to attend wedding events?

    • No. For those that choose to stay at a different hotel or Airbnb in the area, the hotel will require us to provide your name(s) to be admitted through the hotel gates for wedding events. However, you will not have access to hotel amenities.

  • Can I swim in the ocean?

    • Yes, but keep in mind that the beach is the Atlantic Ocean (not the Gulf) and the shoreline is a little more rocky. We recommend bringing swim shoes.

  • Are towels, chairs and umbrellas available at the beach and pool?

    • Towels: Available at pool and beach for hotel guests by showing your room card

    • Beach: $15/chair, $15/umbrella

    • Pool: Chairs and umbrellas are complimentary and first come first serve.

    • Pool Cabanas are $175/day and fit up to 6 people. They can be reserved in advance by calling 386-246-6572 or via the hotel website (under Activities > Pools).
